Mr. Stefano Greco – Chitkara University, 26 teaching hours. Dr. Romans Putans – University of Latvia and Rīga Stradiņš University, 6 teaching hours. Dr. Shazia Aziz Wülbers, University of Bremen and Hochschule Bremen City University of Applied Sciences, 4 teaching hours.
The course is designed to introduce unexperienced students/staffs with propaedeutic skills on international relations, European integration, EU institution and EU public law. Student-centred teaching pedagogies: inquire-based and cooperative learning – to favour critical analysis, re-elaboration and internalisation of content and group discussions. Final aim of the module is to boost interest in the European Union, as new unique supranational political entity – as active promotion of cross-sectoral studies, multidisciplinary and European Studies.
Generate interest and expertise in differentiated target audience. Expose for the first time students’ and staff from non-political science background to European Union institutions and supranational inter-states relations. Module as preliminary step toward Europeanization of their study/working activities.
